Bundles
Four ways to buy, all off the same prepaid balance. Nothing expires without warning: you get a notification before a bundle runs out and again before it lapses.
Hourly and daily data
For a job application, a school portal or a video call. Bought in the app, on WhatsApp or by USSD, live within seconds.
from R5Weekly data
Sized for a week of messaging, browsing and some streaming. Rolls over for seven days if you top up before it lapses.
from R25Monthly data
The main bundle for smartphone households — bigger allowances, night-time data included, carry-over of what you do not use.
from R49Voice and SMS
Per-second billing on calls, bundled minutes for people who still mostly talk, and free on-network calling inside a share plan.
per secondSocial and chat tier
An entry price point built around WhatsApp, calls and light browsing, for members coming off a feature phone or a very small monthly spend.
entry tierPrices are indicative while wholesale terms are finalised, and final tariffs are published before commercial launch in February 2027. What will not change: no contract, no monthly fee to hold a SIM, and no charge for a SIM swap or a port-in.
SIMs, RICA and porting
Everything that involves your identity happens face to face with a person who can check it properly, or on a video call for members who cannot travel.
Collect a starter pack
Free at any ZCC branch, Z-Connect kiosk, roaming agent or participating shop. It contains the SIM and your wallet activation code.
RICA on the spot
ID or passport plus proof of address. The agent captures it, checks it against the record, and the SIM activates in minutes.
Port your number, if you want it
Say so at registration. Porting is free and usually completes within one working day; you keep using your old SIM until it cuts over.
eSIM on supported phones
Newer handsets can activate an eSIM instead of a plastic SIM — useful if you want to keep a second number running on the same phone.
Calling home, and calling out
Built for households with family working in other provinces and across the border.
International calling
Discounted per-minute rates to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Malawi and Eswatini, bought as a bundle rather than billed by surprise.
SADCRoaming
Daily roaming passes in neighbouring countries with a hard spend cap, so nobody comes home to a bill they did not agree to.
CappedData gifting
Send data to another Z-Connect number from your app or by USSD — the same way people already send airtime to family.
Any SIMHelp when you need it
Support on WhatsApp, on USSD, through the call centre, or in person at the kiosk where you bought the SIM.
